Now I know we haven’t made it past our first event yet but we are already prepping for Monster Mash. The general body has fabulous ideas for what to do this year for our table and we can’t wait to see how you guys put this together. Remember, Monster Mash is all about you guys! and the kids, can’t forget the kids :)

We also have Elijah’s promise to look forward to and the 16 days campaign for gender violence awareness. We do have to brainstorm some ideas for this too but all in good time.

Lastly we’d like to welcome all the new faces to our general body meeting today. It’s 8-9 pm in Livingston Student Center , Room 109.  See you guys there!

Walk for Literacy: October 20th 2012

Last year, the response to Haiti’s need was so great, all the donations we received could not be shipped due to lack of funds. Haiti is still far from being back on its feet so this year the money we raise will be used to pay the shipping cost for these goods.

This year registration will begin at 10:30 am and the walk begins at 11:00 am. We will meet in front of Douglass Campus Center and walk towards College Ave. The walk ends at Brower Commons where refreshments will be served.

Please print out a Pledge Sheet and a Registration Sheet or pick one up at our General Body Meetings: Wed 8-9 pm in Livingston Student Center, Room 109. Once you have completed it, bring it with you when you register.

If your organization would like to reach out for this event or others please email us at : goyaproject@gmail.com
